Past Mentorship Events

The IPAC Mentorship Circle Dinner & Discussion

On Monday, March 21, 2022 we hosted our first event for members of The IPAC Mentorship Circle only. We shared dinner to celebrate getting our mentorship program in place directly in response to a need identified by Indigenous medical learners & physicians as they navigate their medical education & career journies.

CaRMS Panel East & West

On January 13 & 14, 2022 we hosted a virtual Indigenous student-only event, led by a total of 8 current IPAC residents & fellows. The panelists provided real-life experiences they encountered while going through the CaRMS process. Each panelist provided advice on how to proceed, what to expect & shared best practices. After all panelists spoke, students were able to ask questions so to gain further insight & knowledge on how to navigate the CaRMS applications, CV writing, personal letter writing, interviews & matching process.
